Startup web hosting vs. inhouse server farm tradeoffs?
We are launching a complex website with .net, Ajax, Flash, SQL Server and eCommerce shopping carts components (so needs SSL). The traffic will be light during beta, but with a viral marketing plan, we expect peak traffic to hit 1000s of visitors a day within the first few months. I have heard Yahoo has a good hosting service, but not sure if they can handle a complex configuration like we may need? Any recommendations?

- Yahoo is a linux based web host, therefore it doesn't support NET, Ajax... As an experienced webmaster I recommend IX Web Hosting service I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them. https://www.ixwebhosting.com/templates/ix/v2/affiliate/clickthru.cgi?id=showplan Good Luck!
