$10,000 for an optimized website "package"?

I have had success with free shopping carts and reasonably priced web hosts and I have not done much with SEO. Most of my traffic is coming from Google Product base. What do these $10,000 websites packages do that I can't? Are they worth it? I will be starting a new ecommerce store built from the ground up to be search engine friendly as an experiment. Where can I learn more about SEO? I just know the basics right now. Is there any particular shopping cart software that's very search engine friendly?

  1. These SEO packages can cost alot, but for that much money, you better believe its probably going to work well.
  2. $10,000 package may be a turnkey SEO solution with guaranteed keyword positioning. Those companies will employ dedicated staff for you and with their expertise they could achieve the results which may takes you years to accomplish. Again it depends on how much revenue you are expecting out of your website and what your website is about. There are lot of cheaters and so called SEO companies. Get the contract signed before you think of paying any SEO company
  3. $10,000 or $ 15,000 it doesnt really matter..keep in mind that $10k is not an expense.. is an investment.. spend 2k to get your keyword to page 3 = probably will make 4k... spend 10k to get your keyword to Rank 1 = probably will make 40k .... do some keyword volume check ...calculate your return on investment... Good Luck!
  4. I would be interested in what you are getting for a $10,000. Anymore, regular SEO for that price is probably a waste of money since everything is changing to SMM/Web 2.0. You would probably get more for your money doing a cheaper and carefully researched SEO package and, if you have the money, an SMM package.
  5. It is difficult to say what your getting for that 10k as every company bundles items differently. If you are a fortune 1000 company than that price might be reasonable but if you are a start up than that might be a lot to chew on. You have to do your research as there is a company for every budget out there. http://www.searchengineoptimizationjournal.com
