What's the best free web-hosting service?

I'm opening a new Avatar: The Last Airbender fansite and I need a free web-hosting service until I make enough off donations and or adsense to actually buy the domain with webhosting. I would like it to be ad free (if that's even possible) and be able to work with ftp so I can upload my iWeb site. Thanks
